My Practice
For me, it’s all about the people.
Having practiced law since 2011, I can confidently say that getting to know my clients, learning about the people behind the issues, and helping resolve the toughest questions they face are the things I most enjoy about my job.

When I founded Enliven Law in 2022, I sought to make proactive, personalized and protective legal services available to people from all walks of life — because having gone through tough times myself, I understand firsthand how fragile and uncertain life can be.
My Story
A Journey That Changed Everything
Before I started helping people across Denver protect who and what they love most, I spent years helping my family navigate through a long and uncertain season of its own.
Simply put, going through something deeply personal changes the way you see life. Personal challenges put your future and that of your loved ones, your daily reality, your goals and your dreams into sharp relief. For me, the experience shifted the way I viewed my life, my profession and my role in my client’s lives.
My law practice has always been about helping my clients. Among other things, I have helped them start and grow businesses, buy and sell companies and resolve complex business conflicts. But, as I experienced challenges of my own — primarily on the home front — the rewarding part of my work life became more about getting to know the people behind the businesses I was serving.
As those trusted relationships developed, clients began asking me for counsel related to the concerns that kept them up at night — and those concerns were rarely about just their business activities. Overwhelmingly, clients wanted answers to what would happen to their loved ones if the unthinkable arrived.
My own experience helped me understand that I could use the law to help my clients protect the people they love and preserve the legacies they had worked hard to build. So, having sat with many tough questions myself, I accepted the challenge, founded Enliven Law and began helping individuals and families plan for their futures.
Personal Life
Life Outside the Office
I grew up in Chicago and while I still hold those midwest roots dear, Colorado has my heart and I’ve felt fortunate to call it home for 25 years.
When I am not in my Cherry Creek office I’m most likely to be found on the Front Range trails with my two dogs (Viva and Dink), standing in a river throwing flies somewhere in our beautiful Centennial State, catching a band at one of our fantastic music venues or spending quality time with my dad, brothers and my close group of friends and their families.
I have practiced Pilates for 16 years and am currently earning my instructor certification. I’ve been a certified scuba diver since age 11 and achieved Rescue Diver status in 2024. I am fluent in French, love to cook, and I have seen the band Phish over 300 times!

Why I Started Enliven Law
I grew up in a family of lawyers and spent the early years of my career working for and with my father and running the Denver office of his Chicago-based law practice. Over my years of practice it has become clear that the law is a tool that can either be used to empower people or overlook them. And, the difference lies entirely in access.
I founded Enliven Law in 2022 with a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves access to high-quality, personalized legal services.
I became a lawyer first and foremost to do good and help people. Enliven Law exists to make that kind of legal client-focused representation available to people from all walks of life. You may walk in with questions and concerns but you will walk out feeling clear, confident, and cared for. That is the promise we make at Enliven Law, where we aim to become your Trusted Counsel For Life.
In my personal practice, I am particularly passionate about serving new families and single parents who have the most to gain from having a solid plan in place. And because a family that plans together stays together, I am equally passionate about expanded planning for multigenerational families.
